Always ahead of its time, the Kankakee County Bar Association (KCBA) has been a virtual organization since its beginnings in the 1880s. With no permanent home, the KCBA finds its home in the camaraderie and collegiality of member meetings wherever they may be held. Now, our home is kankakeecountybar association.org. The KCBA is a legacy system wherein the officers are determined by seniority.

The mission of the KCBA is to foster good bench/bar relations in order to improve our local court system, to promote and provide ethical and competent attorneys to serve our community, and to encourage professional friendships and mentors to offer guidance and support to the membership.
